Dear Patrolman Hewitt,
Thank you Sir, and I salute you for your service to the state of Massachusetts and our country. You will forever be remembered as one of our Hero's. I was four years old at your passing. My son-in-law Sgt.Jeffrey T. Hewitt was shot and killed while serving domestic papers to a mental disturbed veteran on April 4, 2004, in Asheville, North Carolina. I came to the ODM site to look up others with the name of Hewitt, that's how I found you Sir. If you have any survivors still alive, I would like to tell them that even though so many years have passed, that my condolences, prayers and love are with them. You are one of our Hero's Sir that we shall forever carry in our hearts. May you rest in peace in knowing that you will never be forgotten. Thank you again Sir, Carolyn Moore
