Your heroism and service is honored today, the 16th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. Robert K. Wright I was a Sgt. the day we lost you. I had just spoken to you and your partner that morning at the Florence armory. A short time later I responded to the accident. It is hard to believe, even today, how fast time goes. I think of you and remember the sacrsfice you made and it gives me strength. Rest in Peace Officer Barchey.
