To Officer Faulkner and his widow,

You and your story will never be forgotten. If there is any justice in this world, the scum that shot you will be strapped to the gurney one day, and given the punishment that he so richly deserves.

We remember you, we honor you, and we will never forget you, the service you provided to your community, and the fine example that you set for everyone to follow.

Rest in peace brother. We have the watch now.

After seeing Mumia on the news AGAIN I was compelled to reach out to Daniel's family. We've only been attending court dates for the past 5 years, you've been enduring them for way too long. I can only imagine how tough it is when this scum pops up on the TV or when an entertainer speaks out in support of him. It makes me sick every time I hear about it and I do my best to boycott movies and products by these famous people. My husband, before he was killed, was adamant about boycotting Paul Newman and Ben and Jerry products because of this situation.

Please know that I think of you even when Mumia is not on TV. You will always have my love and support.

I just signed an on-line petition to prevent the City of New York from naming a street after your killer. I do not understand how such a thing could be proposed. I do hope it helps.

Farewell Officer Faulkner, even though we never met you are missed. His death was a tragedy, especially to those that he left behind. Another tragedy is that his killer continues to manipulate the court system and his fate remains unknown.
Because of this, his widow must continue to grieve and remains committed to seeing justice done. Like those before and since, the loss of an officer at the hands of another affect so many lives.
It is left for the rest of us to keep the memory of Danny alive and support his family. As they say, there but for the grace of God go I. Rest in Peace Daniel Faulkner.

I knew Danny and his family long before this tragic incident occurred. I grew up with his brothers and his sister, and I not only miss him, but all of the members of his family who have passed away. I have met Maureen at family functions and she is truly a brave woman. Yesterday, 9/23/08, another police officer was shot and killed on the streets of Philadelphia. As I sat in front of the television this morning watching the report, I cried because I was transported backe to that December day in 1981 and to the viewing and funeral afterwards. I pray every day that Mumia is finally brought to justice because I know that the members of his family will never know peace until this happens. Thank you to all of the others for keeping his memory alive.

Danny and Mrs. Faulkner, I heard about your life and the tragic end of it from my new wife. She is a Philadelphia, PA native and before we got married she told me about you. It makes me sick to know that killers of police officer's have more rights then their victims! When in this country is the rights of the men and women who serve everyday, protecting citizens from lawless individuals going to mean anything! Vicki has never forgotten you and I will NEVER let your SERVICE & MEMORY be FORGOTTEN!! GOD BLESS YOU and ALL that have FALLEN!!!! D/D Carew & Vicki

Officer Faulkner, We are still fighting for you. I recently heard your wife on a radio interview. She is Very eloquent and Very strong. To Officer & Mrs. Faulkner:
"Hey ain't it good to know
that you've got a friend
when people can be so cold?
They'll hurt you,
and desert you.
Well, they'll take your soul
if you let them.
Oh yeah, but don't you
Let them."
Words by James Taylor

Mumia's still being alive, and endless court actions are: a miscarriage of justice, abuse of court time, and waste of taxpayers' dollars. Here is hoping that Mumia SOON gets his just dues. M.W.

I recently read Maureen Faulkner's book "Murdered by Mumia". I am very impressed by her strength and desire to see your killer brought to a just sentence. Your death is tragic!!! You will never be forgotten by your brothers and sisters in blue!!! Maureen, if you read this keep fighting the good fight we are all with you in your beliefs!!

May justice soon prevail in this case. The cowardly acts of a cold blooded racist killer should have been dealt swift justice years ago.

2008-04-02

Another lsap in the face Danny to you and your family. Your killer had his death sentence overturned today. 27 years after your murder. The court ruled the conviction must stand, but he should have a new sentencing hearing. I cannot believe this! This POS should have been taken from the courtroom to the death chamber upon sentencing. Your family, and especially your wife Maureen have to continue to endure this.
I will be right there with all the people that write and email the courts etc screaming about this travesty of justice. We will not let this go by lightly.

Mrs. Faulkner
I just finished reading your book and want you to know you have nothing but support out here. Its hard to see all of us though all the scumbag celebrity supporters of Wesley Cook, but we are here. We are continuing to hit the streets and doing our job with pride just like Danny did. I look forward to the day that piece of garbage gets what he deserves. I admire you for your tireless fight for Danny. I wish I had something to say that hasn't been said already, but I just want you to know we're behind you. Maybe someday everyone will wake the hell up and realize who's side they should be on and realize that the good guys are not getting any respect or support. God Bless You and your family.
