YOU ARE REMEMBERED TODAY AND THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR SERVICE Pat Van Den Berghe, Manchester, NH Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family, friends and all the members of the Baltimore City Police Department. We were made safer by his service and we all suffer their tragic loss. The family of Officer Duvall deserves our appreciation and gratitude for their sacrifice. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Officer Duvall is a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Thomas Doyle We ask Thy blessings and eternal rest to all our brothers and sisters Ret. Officer William Hackley My father, who retired from the department in 1988 with 30 years on, told me a story the other day about his training officer and one of his friends. His training officer's friend, was Mr. Duvall. My father never spoke about Mr. Duvall's untimely death until just last week. You see, my father was there and was still in training at the time. He spoke about Mr. Duvall and stated that Duvall was a very good man and remembered him like it was yesterday. His family must be proud of him and must have good memories. I know one thing, my father will never forget him. Anthony Torres I look at your young face and am grateful for that sacrifice that you made so long ago. You are still very much a part of the Baltimore Police Department, and the agency patch symbolizes the high price that you paid. May all Baltimore police officers wear the patch with great pride, knowing that you and many others gave their lives for it. God bless this hero's family. Pat
