Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I am sure that you are proud that your family is still continuing the legacy of serving and protecting.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Dear George:
I have spent almost my entire career here at the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, and for those 25 years that I have been here, I have read and re-read about you. The time is long overdue, sir, for me to leave a brother Deputy a reflection. One that you so richly deserve.
At a time in America's history when tenacious and honorable men were needed, you were there, and you answered the call without hesitation. "In valor, there is hope". You actions and the manner in which you served, is one for others to emulate, both now, and long after I am gone too.
Thank you George, for the dedication and the sacrifice you made. I am so proud to wear the same badge you so honorably wore 85 years ago. May our Father in Heaven keep you in His arms and heart, and may your descendants always be as proud as we are, of your service. Rest in peace, brother, we have the watch now. Amen.

Your great grandson has carried the torch and has served honorably as a Law Enforcement Officer. He has not forgotten you, nor will we forget your sacrifice.

Years have passed since you gave your all. The years have not diminished the Hero that you are.
