Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 107th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers, 103 years after you were killed.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

mother of fallen officer Larry Lasater

We ask Thy blessings and eternal rest to all our brothers and sisters
Who have sacrificed their very lives in the performance of
their duties. Give their loved ones the peace and
Strength to bear the anguish of their loss. Remove all
resentment from their hearts, knowing that eternal
peace and rest will abide their departed loved ones
forever. This we beg, Thy name forever and ever,
Amen.

Came across the heroic story of Police Officer Charles J. Donohue of the Baltimore City Police Department doing research on ODMP.org. Although we are not related, we share a name. I honor Police Officer Charles J. Donohue by serving the people of New York City.
