It is terrible that the state of NC is thinking of letting your killer loose because they think she has served her life sentence. This is wrong if you can not come back to work then she need not get out of jail. Trooper B. Johnoson Your heroism and service is honored today, the 34th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. Phyllis Loya Rest in God's loving embrace, hero. You will never be forgotten. Wisconsin L.E.O. "The Badge" Investigator David L Bell TROOPER DAVIS, MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SACRIFICE. YOU HAVE SERVED WELL. A HERO FOR SURE. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOU NEVER BE FORGOTTEN FOR YOUR SACRIFICE. GOD BLESS. CHIEF RONNIE WATFORD-RET. I often check and read the ODMP. Not only it is a way to ground yourself and remember the past, but a way to honor our brothers who came long before us. I have been a police officer for nearly ten years now and not a minute goes by that I don't think about those who have given the ultimate to ensure that our communities are safe and something worthy of passing along to our children. Today I searched and found Patrolman Davis Jr. This HERO was tragically murdered on the very day before I was born. Although decades apart and miles away, we are all brothers. May your family find peace and comfort knowing that so many of your brothers are with them always in thought and prayer. And patrolman Davis Jr., may you find comfort knowing that we are all carrying on the torch and continuing what you started. Rest in peace sir and I look forward to meeting you in the future. Public Safety Officer, J. Perrone tom was our neighbor for many years. his oldest son was a good friend and still is. tom was a fair and honest person. he would nail you if you were in the wrong but would do it in such a way you thanked him. i will never forget the day he was killed. we lost a good friend but the state lost a fine officer. g.p.brown Officer Davis your work on this Earth as we know it is done. You are in God's Care now. May you rest in peace brother. SGT. Daryl Brewer Truly a man of PRUDENCE, JUSTICE, FORTITUDE and TEMPERANCE. C.C. I remember Trooper Davis as a very kind man who loved all people, black or white. As a child I grew up very poor with hardly anything to eat. This was around 1969- 1970. Trooper Davis had just locked up my grandfather for an offense. He, Trooper Davis, having known that my Grandfather was the only bread winner in the household, came to our home later, in his patrol vehicle, got out and opened the trunk of his cruiser and took out three bags of groceries and placed them on the porch. He then left without saying a word. This is what type of man he was. He was not about a lot of words, but was more about action. May God forever bless Trooper Tom Davis soul and his family. If any one is in Heaven, Trooper Davis has his place there. God Bless you Trooper Davis and thanks for what you did for my family. Ricky E. Cooper Tom was the first State Trooper that I knew. I grew up knowing and respecting him and later was fortunate to work in the same troop with him. Tom was loved and respected by everyone in the county where he worked and gave his life for what he believed in. Tom left a great family behind and the respect of everyone he worked with and for. God bless you and rest in peace my brother. Sgt. G. Douglas Britton
