Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 59th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot purs$uit of two bank robbers, 54 years after you were killed.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

I was born and raised in Fostoria. I remember the stories told to me as a child regarding Dillinger and the bank robbery. It was your legacy and those that followed you, in that small mid western town, that led me into Law Enforcement. You truly are a hero to me. Rest easy brother...one day we shall meet...one day...
