Hi Ernie - It's awfully hard to believe that in three more days you'll have been gone for 44 years. You and I served together at the Delaware Post for a very short time. You were a cadet dispatcher and I was a new boot trooper ("Patrolman" in those days)fresh from the Academy. I always knew you'd make a great officer, because you had the cool manner and temperment that it took to be one. You weren't on very long when you were killed, and it sure took the wind out of all the guys at Delaware who served with you. I hope you were able to watch over your family, and that you've had a pleasant journey. Until we all meet again. Tell Skraba that I said "Hi". S/Lt. Ron Thompson (retired) You are remembered today and thank you sir for your service. vandenberghe You are remembered today and thank you Sir for your service. vandenberghe I attended the Ohio State Highway Patrol's memorial service for the first time this past May and was moved by the dedication the Patrol has for remembering it's fallen officers. I was also greatly moved by the number of family members who come back year after year to honor their loved ones...some who have died over 50 years ago. Becky Muncy, widow of Sgt. Marc Muncy thank you for your services, you will never be forgotten. deputy Thank you for your sacrifice. You are not forgotten. Former Ohio Trooper
