Your heroism and service is honored today, the 70th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son atLarry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

What horrible tragedies befell this family on that day.
Rest In Peace

My Grandfather died before I was born. I have a few pictures of him which I treasure. I am so proud of his duty to protect the citizens of Los Angeles. His death enabled my father, Wayne Harold Brown, to go to college and graduate from Cal Tech. My grand-father remarried to a woman named Grace. My grand-fathers doctor told his partner, L.E. Walker,to go get his wife now..he was dying and strangly the police car carrying Grace and her son, Arthur, 19 years old, was broadsided and Grace died of her injuries shortly after, her son was critically injured the police officer was injured but recovered. If anyone knows him or of him please E-Mail me. Thank you, Nancy
My grandfather has 3 grandchilden, Steven (deceased), David and me, Nancy
