Many times we wonder why, but we are the ones who obay the laws and the few who choose not to cause the grief we feel for fallen officers. Thank you for making the final sacrifice. Rest in peace until our Savior comes.

Though almost 81 years have passed, you have not been forgotten. Agent Varnon, despite being mortally wounded, you helped to apprehend your murderers. That shows a degree of toughness we all pray we have but pray just as hard we don’t have to prove it one way or the other. You gave your life defending one of America’s most vital assets; her railroads and you gave your all. Thank you Agent Varnon, you are truly a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
