A year has passed and your sacrifice has not been forgotten. Neither have the expressions on the faces of your fellow Officers, Deputies and the others who so desperately searched for you in the chilly October rain last year. The expressions on their faces and the sacrifices you made both tell the story of what a hero you are. GOD Bless the law enforcement community. Resident Of Fairfax County I'd like you and your family to know you are not alone during this especially difficult time of year. Anonymous The wicked fleee where no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion. K.L. As I sit here remembering my dear cousin and especially his wife on this day, I'm heartbroken to see that on the same day he was taken from us, Lt Stecco went with him. I'm sure they went hand in hand so they were not alone, as we, the family and friends left behind are also brought together and not alone. God Bless Lt Stecco and his family for allowing him to protect us, and ultimately giving his life as he and Officer Tome, both on the same day, died trying to learn how to keep us out of harms way. All that serve and give the ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten and forever remembered as heroes. May Lt Stecco's family know he is always with you and watching over you.
