Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

His Family always came first but he believed in helping everyone. Rodney had a smile that would light up any room and make anyone's day brighter. He was my best friend. We will never ever forget him. I have know and worked with officer Kelley approximately 5 years. one of the best person I have ever known. Kelley took his job seriously and one you could always count on when the shift was short of help.Kelly,I have a lot of respect for you. I will never for get you.

I rememeber the last time that I saw you, it was at the state picnic at the Cattle Ranch. We had lots of fun cheering for the Bullock County Softball Team. You will be greatly missed. May God bless you, your wife and the baby.

what a terrible tragedy...now that the report has been released and the truck that killed you was passing in a no passing zone and speeding another family is going to lose a loved one because he will probably be going to prison for the deaths of 7 innocent people...the DOC should never use those vans to transport anything besides prisoners because some of the people might have made it had they been able to get out....the bars on the windows were most likely fatal
