Trooper Lippy,
Tomorrow will marked a year since you left this earth and became an angel in heaven. I know it was a very hard year for your family as I walked the same path in life this year that they did. My son was taken from us 2 short weeks before you were taken. You'll always be remembered and honored as the Hero you were and will forever be. To your family, please know your not alone, we all stand together with support, love and respect.

With the deepest of respect and love.

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiancé Dennis. Every time I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the man they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Trooper Lippy. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. (The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. I can also be found on Face Book.) You will be in my thoughts.

From reading the reflections left for Mickey, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Mickey's life and the MAN that he was. Remember that Mickey's life was about so much more than the way he died. Mickey will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Trooper Lippy, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my late fiancé Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been almost seven years but he's still very much missed and forever loved.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

Mick,
It is so hard to say good bye. I swear I promise I will do good school for you and take care of Maddie. Give Mimi,Pap Pap and Pop pop a hug. It is just so hard to go to your house. When I do I remember all of the fun things we did together. I don't want to believe what happened, I don't think anybody does. I just wish that if I could bring somebody back to life it would be you no one else. I miss you so much. I loved so much. When it is my time to go, come and get me. I swear to my soul that when I die,if it isn't you who gets, I will regret my life. I'll take care of Maddie. I will just call her randomly to tell her how much you loved her,and show her pictures, and tell her that she was more than your pride and joy, that she was your dream. Everyone ythinks that it so cool, that you got to do everything you wanted in life. You taught me things, you were funny, you were my favorite uncle ever. All I do now is write your name on every paper I can get a hold of. I can't believe this happened, and if you were injured really bad. You probably would've done anything to stay alive. All I want now is a wiji board so we can talk. All Iw ant to do right now is talk . I'm sure Chrissy would love to do that. You probably when you were little thought that one day on the wiji it would talking to a mortal. I miss you so much Mickey.

Mickey I love you so much. So does Chrissy. She said she didn't know how she would raise Maddie without you. She went with us to Willow Grove, by Loch Raven. She said she had so much fun. I've moved on to another instrument, or instruments, the Air Drums, and the Air Guitar. I will always miss you. You have the biggest place in my heart. I can picture you saying the lyrics to My Guardian Angel," I will never let you fall,I will stand up for you forever,I'll be there for you trough it all,evn if saving you sends me to heaven." and me saying the lyrics from When Your Gone."When your gone pieces of my heart are missing you". and,"When you walk away I count every step you take." Mickey we love you so much. I rremember stories about you and the wiji board with Granny. I wish Mommy's cell phone still worked so I could always have the pictures of you and Maddie. She looks just like you. I hope she looks just like you forever. You will always have the biggest, biggest place in my heart, and I promise to you that I will take care of Maddie for you.

Mickey,
It is so difficult to say goodbye to you. It was a honor to be considered a friend. You were never one to waver or wonder what you would end up doing with your life. You always knew your purpose in life was to help others and be a calming voice in a patent's darkest hour.
I am so proud of you and your beautiful family and all that you have accomplished. I will never forget you...your great sense of humor, laugh and unbelievable courage.
Goodbye my friend.
I love you buddy.

Tfc Lippy,
I actually stopped down the hanger when i was on patrol one day...you were outside detailing your cruiser. It's amazing how you can just stop and talk to someone for such a brief moment, but feel honored to have known them. I do want to give my condolences to your wife and daughter. I check this website quite often to see who has passed away. When i heard about the crash i wondered if i knew any of them. I didnt think i would have because i work only days and it was a night shift group. But after coming on here and putting a face to the name i am sadden.

Go rest now, your work on earth is complete. The Heavenly Father has called his child home. Know that when one of our nations finest passes away, that simply means heaven has one more guardian angel. Though we never met I feel as though a brother has been lost. One day when I am called home we'll swap stories as we patrol heavens streets. Until that day, watch over us, quide us and keep us safe. Amen.
