Fletcher #1254 Retired Rest in peace knowing that your sacrafice will never be forgotten. Anonymous Isabel, Patrolman Edmund Harvey Izzy and I shared lockers next to each other. I have been detailed out for a while , but Izzy would keep in contact with me from time to time. My final phone called came from her on 8/28/08. She had just learned that I had been in a bad accident and was so upset that she hadn't called sooner, but as she stated she didn't know. She ask if I needed anything at all and if I did to call her, She repeatly said she was so sorry. She would always say in the locker room before our tour of duty,"becareful out there girl".She repeated those same words to me before hanging the phone up that day.Her sincere words of concern brighten by day. Our confidential conversations we use to have in the locker room about life ups and downs were really inspiring. I felt honored that she would confide in me about some personal matters because she was a very private person when came to some matters of her personal life. Although Izzy would sometimes have that stern look on her face, she had a heart of gold. Meeting her mother for the first time during thes sad times, I see where she got her kindness. P/O Charlene Hailey May you rest in Peace and Thank you for your years of service. We are eternally greateful. P/O Over the course of my career I've witnessed too many dedicated Officers sacrifice their lives. P/O Phil Bowdren (Retired)
