The wicked flee where no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion
Proverbs 28:1

God bless you and all who mourn you. May God give them the strength to carry on. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

You and King are both heros.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

In memory of Sean on the first anniversary of his EOW.

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and search for righteousness
For they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.

To those who loved Deputy Pursifull, my heart goes to you all, especially to his fiancee. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. Even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Sean will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Deputy Pursifull for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. We miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne

There are not adequate words to describe what I feel towards your killers....Rest in Peace, Brother, you and King can now patrol with Billy, I can see you guys hanging out together and sharing stories and jokes.
Know that your children will have prayers said for them daily. The article in the paper of your service hangs on my office door and it gives me the opportunity to tell them what an exceptional officer you were..........
Rest now...

Another brave soldier in the never ending war on criminals in our country has been killed by a cowardly enemy. May the ruthless criminals responsible for this murder be brought to justice and sentenced to the most severe penalty. May the memory of your service, heroism and sacrifice remain forever. We are proud of you and thankful for all of your service. May God bless you and your family.

I was blessed to work with Sean on a number of occasions. He was a dedicated young officer of outstanding character. Our ranks and our profession suffer as a result of his death. As with many of our fallen heroes, he leaves behind family members who make as great a sacrifice as did he. May God bless them abundantly. Rest in peace my brother.

This has been a busy time. Sean's mother and I attended another memorial on Tuesday. This one took place near Louisville, the support that these people give is outstanding. The tributes that they pay to our heros is comforting. I appreciate each and everyone of them. I can't wait until the baby take part. We also had a baby shower this past weekend. It was outrageous the gifts I received for baby Sean. One thing I have learned is that people do care and their support means so much. I still feel the emptyness of losing Sean, I will never forget him or be able to stop loving him. He has changed my life in so many ways I could never forget him. I will love him always.
