Smitty and I worked in Dededo Precinct together when he first started his carreer as a police officer. He loved his island and it's people. He took great pleasure in serving them as one of Guam's Finest and he always did his best to be fair and impartial. My condolences to his family and friends.

I love you so much. You are a loving man, husband, daddy, and my soul mate. We had a special relationship, one like no other. The two of us were truly one. Even after being married for ten years, it felt like we were always on our honeymoon.

I am truly blessed for the time that we shared together although I will never understand why it was cut short. You always made me laugh. We never had a dull moment together because you made sure that we lived life to the fullest.

I've had to work most Sundays,

It has been an honor to have worked with Smitty.

He loved his job and was passionate about what he did, he was a great mentor and teacher. He had a goofy sense of humor but he was a sincere friend.

We all struggle each day to understand why he was called home so early, but, to those whose lives that he has touched, he will always be remembered.
