Hey Scott,
Today Mason saw the frost on the grass, he thought it had snowed. He was so excited he said I think Uncle Scottie made it snow from heaven. Eventhough you are not physically here with us, we feel your spirit around. Mason knows you're his guardian angel he said to me, Uncle Scottie loves me. I told him very much so, and we love him and miss him very much. Thinking of you often!

Scott,
Mason has been talking about his Uncle Scottie a lot lately. Just the other day he was drawing a picture and I asked him what he was drawing, he said that he was drawing a picture for his Uncle Scottie who is up in heaven. I said well how are you going to get it to him, he said when he comes back down. I asked him what he thinks you are doing up there, he said looking at the clouds. I am not sure if he actually remembers when you were here or if he just remembers seeing pictures and hearing us talk about you. I want him to always know who his Uncle Scottie was. I tell him that you are his guardian angel and that you are always watching over him. Mason also likes to pretend he's a police officer like daddy and Uncle Scottie and he says he's locking-up bad guys. It's really cute! We sure miss you and wish you were here with us. I believe that God needed you with him and that you are in a better place. I know you will always be watching over and protecting us. We love you.

Scott,

Although you are normally in my thoughts, I have thought about you a great deal this week. Police week and memorial services are around the corner and I know how hard they are on Tracy and your parents. I saw Tracy recently and she seems to be doing well. I know you are proud of your family, as is the Department. You are missed brother, and its my understanding that Mike and the Chief are riding in your honor in a memorial ride in the upcoming weeks. I hope you are resting comfortably, please continue to watch over us, we miss you greatly.

It has been some time but seems like yesterday I seen in the gym your last words I will never forget, "do you live in here?" you laughed and of course you always made me laugh. I think about you all the time, you were right here. It was July something when I was doing a google search on something and you popped up. I had no idea and it was unbelievable how could something like this happen to you. You reminded me so much of myself. Dedicated and funny, but I also remember some of the earlier years when, sure did have a good time. Again today I found myself thinking and I just found your web site. I still remember years ago when my g/f at the time was managing victoria secret in Columbia mall and they had just been ripped off for several perfumes and she called the police. Guess who showed up. I just wanted to say this:
I hope you are in a better place now although I know it was not your time. All of the tears could never replace you. You left a lasting impression that no one can forget. In my heart there is a place for someone like you. As the stars from above watch us during the night I can not help but think one of them is you. The lord has called you maybe they need a good officer upstairs or someone to make them laugh. You were taken from us without warning or cause and this will always be hard to understand or believe. I will always think of you. Hang in there buddy. May God bless your wife, family and friends.

I only dealt with you twice, when I called for help and you were one of the officers who responded. You struck me as a remarkable officer. Your service to your community will never be forgotten. Thank you for your decency and professionalism.
