Your heroism and service is honored today, the 153rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

It has taken too long for you to be honored. Now that you have been recognized, your memory will live on through all those that come to this site. Thank you for your service to the people of New Orleans.

Officer Algeo,
It has taken 151 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your community, but also for our Country when you served during the Mexican-American War.
