REST IN PEACE. 3100 PO ADAMS 46 PCT On the 2nd anniversary of Officer Pekearo's death, we honored his service in our patrol briefing by reading his entry from ODMP. Each day, we honor one fallen officer on the anniversary of their death so as to keep them in our thoughts, and also to remind us of the dangers inherent in our job. Officer Pekearo is not forgotten. Sergeant Zach Perron Two years ago today. They dedicated the corner of Bleeker and Sullivan to Nick this afternoon. He grew up across the hall from me on Morton. He will never be forgotten. His mom and family are in my prayers. Jennifer Doyle The wicked flee where no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion K.L. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 2nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. Phyllis Loya My thoughts and prayers are with your loved ones and friends on this anniversary of your EOW. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol watching over the Thin Blue Line. You will never be forgotten. James Sheppard I said a little prayer today for Auxiliary Police Officer Pekearo and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO. Robyn Wilkes YOU ARE A REAL HERO , YOU WILL BE MISS. AUXILIARY SERGEANT EDWIN SOTO Hey Nick, Chris Latman May it never happen again and may you and your soul rest in peace. Aux/Sergeant Simcha Feinhandler Recently read Nicolas Pekearo's THE WOLFMAN. His editor included a salute of a foreword that briefly recounted the incidents in which unarmed officers Pekearo and Marshalik went against a heavily-armed murderous madman. Pekearo and Marshalik lost the breath of this corrupt world to breathe again in Limitless Pure Peace and Joy with the special welcome for those who have such great Love as to lay down their lives for their friends - having taken general Creation for their friends. MOST HONORABLE!!! N/A I happened upon Officer Pekearo's book "The Wolfman" in our local library and to my good fortune I decided to check it out. Officer Swart GOD BLESS YOU ARE A HERO TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS SEE YOU IN HEAVEN BROTHER. Auxiliary Police Officer you gave the ultimate sacrifice. may you rest in peace 62 pct THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, REST IN PEACE. N.J. TROOPER I had just found out about his book nad was shocked and saddened that he will not be writing another. CSR Chris Gifford I have just ordered Officer Pekearo's book for our Public Libary here in Brookline Massachusetts. When I read that he had been killed in the line of duty. What a wonderful young man and such a terrible loss for his family, friends, fellow police officers and the literary world. You all have my deepest sympathy. I look forward to reading his book and hope that it is of some comfort that he was able to have a novel published before his life was so cruelly cut short.
