Officer Torres. To paraphrase the old hymn, you once were lost, but now you’re found, we were blind but now we see. You are no longer forgotten. Rest in peace.

Officer Torres, it’s been about 85 years since your murder. You died while protecting one of America’s railroads. It’s the railroads that sparked the greatness of this country and it has always taken special people to keep them safe. You have not been forgotten.

We can only hope that the low life that murdered you found justice, whether in this life or the next.

Thank you, God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

Harvard University Police Dept.
