Field Inspector Allison, today marks the 86th anniversary of your execution at the hands of two lowlifes. It is shocking that after executing two law enforcement officers and escaping from prison that either would be pardoned, especially in Texas where it is generally accepted that a more realistic stand on crime and punishment does and always has existed.

This nation loves it’s meat and by protecting it and investigating and apprehending those who would act in a criminal manner towards a vital food supply and a large part of our economy, you worked for all Americans, not just the cattle raisers themselves. I thank you for your service.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

As a fellow law enforcement officer and member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association I'd like to say though it's been 78 years since Field Inspector Dave Allison made the ultimate sacrifice he has not been forgotten. Thanks in part to the ODMP his spirit is still very much alive and well.
I know several of the field inspectors personally and it is my solemn prayer that God keep them safe from harm. They are a fine bunch of men and I am proud to call them friends.
