Stokes #801 I commented to you way back in '04 about my experience with your husband...a fine man and an excellent trooper...this may not be the place but forgive me, I absolutely must congratulate you on the birth of the trooper's grandbaby!! Also, I must tell you how grateful I am that God once again chose to spare Darryl Jr.....you are a strong woman. I hope that someday I will half of the the fortitude you have had. God Bless Anonymous Another year has pass and I still think about that day. I remain focus and with these new Chargers and new laws we are making progress in the sportbike epidemnic war. May you and God protect your family and ours through our personal battles. Brother Trooper Mrs. Haywood, Know that Darryl Sr. is Darryle Jr's guardian angel!!!!! Thay was proved once again yesterday!! I am so glad that Darryle Jr. did not get hurt yesterday! Anonymous I haven't left a message since 2004. Trooper Haywood served proudly and was deeply loved and respected by those who knew him. It is a tragedy to lose him. We never know when our lives on this earth will end, but we can make a reservation in Heaven now and assure us a place when God calls us to Himself. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) and He PAID the price for our sins on the Cross so we don't have to pay the penalty for our sins. Yipee! If we accept His payment by faith we can have salvation and spend eternity with Him in Heaven. It is not something we must earn, it is a gift. The most precious one we can ever receive. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith_and this not from yourselves, it is the GIFT of God_not by good deeds, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2: 8,9. For without faith, it is impossible to please God. And our faith must be in God's only Son, Jesus Christ. Anonymous Dearest Darryl, Linda Sharpe Haywood Just thinking about you today, and thinking about your family who misses you everyday. I wanted you to know that we will never forget about you and the sacrifice that you made this day four years ago and the sacrifice your family has to make everyday without you. I have my blue candles that burn 24/7 for all the hero in Heaven and actively on duty. We will never forget. Connie Barker F.W.B. Fl. Well it has been 4 years today Trooper. I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that you are not forgotten. Even when I am working, citizens will come up to me and talk about you and what a great person you were. I must say thank you to you Trooper Haywood for wearing this uniform proudly and serving the citizens of this great state in the manner you did. We lost a true hero 4 years ago, but your service will always be remembered. Trooper Chris Conrad It has been 4 years since the your tragic, senseless death.
