May you rest in peace - Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. The Florida Highway Patrol Family is proud to call you one of our own.

As sad as it is to read about all these different officers deaths, it's there life that brings something to your life that makes you proud to be in law enforcement. Just picture this Trooper standing on the running board of a violators vehicle, escorting him to the jail. In this day and time we would never think of that happening but back in the day, and especially in the Cross City area, it had to be common. Just picturing the scene as you read this description you see the pride, heart and dedication this Trooper had for being a lawman. I'm not going to jump on a running board anytime soon, but I sure have gained a renewed since of purpose. God bless you Trooper Walker, thank you for being part of who we are.
