Nick- I know you were with us this past weekend. You welcomed Aunt Ruthie to her new home. Please be there for Greg and watch over him. On Saturday, we celebrated your life and you. There were a few tears but I know that you just want us to be happy. Gavin wrote his message to you by himself.
Thanks for being there for Bobby on Sunday. We are so lucky to have our angel watching over all of us.
Be with your little man tomorrow. He will need you. I promised him that we would bring him ice cream or popsicles when he needed them. It was so great talking to him tonight.
I better get Payton to sleep. She is going to be 4 on Friday.
Thanks for keeping an eye on Mom. I just keep smiling when I am with her because she is so happy, looks great and is so full of life. I keep telling her 2010 is her year.
I love you forever and always, Kel

I want you to know that you and your family are always in my prayers, especially on this day. Everytime I drive on 141 and see your signs I say a little prayer. We miss you very much Nick but we know that you are watching over us all and keeping us safe. Thanks for being our angel! ks 3686

Thinking of you today and remembering your family in my every thought. I hope 2010 will be a better year for them all. I know you will watch over them and keep them strong. It seems like only yesterday that we heard that terrible news. Your family isn`t alone, we are all in this together. With the love and support of friends and family, we will go on. You boys be good now, and watch our backs! We love you . Mary Ann Tatoian

Uncle Nick, I wish you wouldn't have died. I almost cried yesterday while mommy and Gavin were talking about you. I miss you Nick. I just wanted to say "Yo Dude!" Love, Bobby Bobby Nick's Nephew 2010-01-30
Hey Nick,
Today has been six years since you were taken from us. I love you and miss you so much. You will never be forgotten. You are a true HERO.
Love you, Heather Heather Nick's sister 2010-01-30
Six years may have passed, but you have not been forgotten by those that love you dearly. Some will say it felt like only yesterday that they last saw your smile, heard your voice, and felt your warm touch. For others it has felt like a lifetime. Continue to watch over all of your loved ones and keep them safe. I'd like to leave this short poem I came across for those that love and miss you:
Those who we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are. "Author Unknown" Bob Gordon Father of Chicago Officer: Michael P. Gordon, EOW: 8/8/04 2010-01-29
Thinking of you - and your entire family on this unfortunate anniversary. You have a wonderful family who miss you very, very much. Please let them know you are there. Keep a special watch over them. You are never forgotten. Jayne McEntee

Nick,
We just had Bobby's birthday party. The kids had so much fun. We enjoyed all the signs from you. My favorite was the car in the parking lot that said Nic-nac. I thought of you with Nic and how Bobby used to call you uncle Nac. Thank you for coming to Bobby's party, I just wish we could have seen you.
Love you and miss you, Heather Heather and Bobby

Nick- Merry Christmas! We know you are enjoying the holiday up there with everyone. We miss you so much.
The kids were so excited about their gifts from you. It was a good Christmas. Mom was able to enjoy the day and Gavin got to come visit at our house for a little bit. Josh got called into work because of the weather. The only other person missing was you. I could tell you were with us.
This has been quite a year. We know you were with us all the way. I would love it if next year was just normal.
Love you so much, Kelly and Payton

Thank you Nick! And thank you to your dear family! As you know I am Kay's dad, and Gabe's father in law. Your short life has been a blessing of courage in faith and love for all of us! You gave your life for us all.....there is no greater gift! Pray for us, especially your loved ones. Thank you! JK Jim Kiesow Friend 2009-12-17
Nick- I miss you so much. I was able to finally begin to really enjoy the thought of Christmas this year. Please help Mom to be better. She is such a wonderful person and has been through more than most people go through in a lifetime. It is so hard to see her not doing well. Dad is there with her every second that he can and helping with whatever she needs. I am so glad I got to visit with her Thursday night. Please do whatever is needed to make her better. I can't stand the thought of her going through so much pain right now.
I know you'll be with us through the holidays. You should definitely be here with us still. Try to enjoy your Christmas up there with all of our special angels.
I know that you must be talking to Payton, Bobby and Gavin because whenever we are feeling really down, one of them will do or say something to make us laugh so hard.
I love you and miss you so much kel

NICK:
Thanks for taking care of MOM and visiting her at the hospital. She was having a real tough time and you were able to help her recover. She still has a way to go, but hopefully she can get better without going back to St. Luke's.
Yesterday we celebrated Gavin's seventh birthday and he had a great time.
I Love You and I hope that you are doing okay.
Talk to you later..... DAD
