Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten. James Sheppard The purpose of life is to glorify God. You did a fine job and your reward is in Anonymous Trooper Mann, I saw you at a Trooper Graduation back in 2000. You was in the Honor Guard. May I say you were the picture of Pride and Honor. I remember that night. I was working. Immediately it came to my mind who you were and where I had seen you. I wish I had know you. It is always a joy to meet an officer who takes that great pride in his job and his uniform. That officer that wants to always be a shining example of professionalism with excellent behavior. You obviously possessed all those traits. You certainly were a Great Credit to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

You have not been forgotten and are a true hero. Keep watch over your loved ones and those still out on patrol Bob Gordon, Chicago Gold Star Father John, I just was thinking about you and I wanted to give you another visit. You are never far from my thoughts and since the last time I visited you, I went on the road as a Sheriffs Deputy Reserve up home in Jackson County TN, and I never started a shift without thinking of you and the one thing that I made my self do when the sheriff asked me to go on the road was, I had to hold myself up to you. I would always make sure that my uniform was as sharp as I could make it. I remember the way that you wore your uniform and everything that you stood for, and I wanted to be just like you my friend. Well John I have since went back to work for the Dept Of Safety, and I still think of you every day. I can still remember the night that you were on a DUI Roadblock and I was in dispatch and you asked me if I had any info on your subject, and I was covered and I made a slip up on the radio, and you called and we had a good laugh. John I miss you and ask that you keep watching over all of us....Robin Robin D. Meadows Trooper Mann the 5 year anniversary date that you left this world to be in a much happier place has just past. We are told in God's Word that We can't even imagine how wonderful Heaven will be - in faith I believe this - being here yet it is hard to come to grips with the idea that there is a happier place because we are selfish and want our loved ones here with us..
