Anonymous God Speed, Brother. P.O.K.Murphy How strange life can be. I met Officer Porter when he was in the 39th Dist and he was bringing jobs to the Det Div. He was so polite, and kind of shy but friendly, but knew his job and did it the right way. I liked him at once. Many times we had talks, but never did we connect that we already knew each other. When I attended his funeral, and he was referred to as "Petey" and I saw his mother, it came full circle, his mother and I had worked together and she brought her son "Petey" with her on special occassions, and I always talked and got a hug from her little boy, who was the nicest child you could met. He grew up to be the nicest person you could met, and I miss him, both the little boy and the wonderful man, a good cop he became, he was both at the same time. Ret. Det Wanda Foster Never Forgotten.
