Anonymous YOU ARE REMEMBERED TODAY AND THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR SERVICE Pat Van Den Berghe Your ultimate sacrifice has led to a continuation of tradition among police officers. I am inspired by your act of bravery and you are not forgotten. I am proud to say I am from the county that you once protected and because of you and so many others it was possible to have a Houston TX in the first place. In about 3 or 4 years after I graduate college I will become a State Trooper in CT, the state where my wife is from. Your memory and bravery will be with me when I am serving and protecting as you once did. Once again you are not forgotten and thank you. Rest in peace. Nils P.
