Your heroism and service is honored today, the 62nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. Frederick Wales was my mother's cousin. I was born one year after his death and named for him. He was a beloved member of our family. I hope that my life is a credit to him. He was missed and mourned by all of the people he grew up with in the tiny town of Folsom, California. Fredericka B.
