To all Law Enforcement Officers who always serve and protect with honor: I have just discovered this website and I commend your staff who have created a venue for families and officers who have lost loved ones...This is my grandfather who was killed at the age of 27 in the line of duty..one month before my father was born..we never knew him...however, we remember through newspaper articles and photos...he was larger than life!!..Having been born in New York City, raised in Sweden by his Finnish mother and Swedish father, this man sailed the seven seas as a merchant starting at 16yrs old before returning to the states where he ended up in Pittsburgh, married his lovely Elizabeth Barth and had a baby name Hilda...Louis Jr. was born August 13, 1931, my father...The youngest Chief of Police for the Ingram Police Department, my grandfather loved to lift weights, ride his motorcycle, and always had a good joke to tell..he was well loved in his community and his family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry his name will never forget and always honor Louis Edward Wagner (Torsten Ludwig Wagner-given name)
