I am the son of GC Verrett. I am very distant from my dad's family. I grew up in the Desire Housing Projects and now reside in Tampa, Florida. I first met my Aunt Billie and my cousins, Lloyd Jr. and Denise at Uncle Lloyd's funeral services. I am sadden to hear that Lloyd Jr. past. My condolence to Aunt Billie, Denise, and Lloyd Jr's wife and children. Kenneth E. Verrett Just want the world to know that I am Sergeant Lloyd Verrett Sr. grandbaby and that he raises a very intelligent son, who was taken away on Christmas day, my daddy. Officer Verrett lived near us and his son was a good kid. We were all very sad when they moved away shortly after the dad was killed. My mother worked at Flint Goodrich hospital, and I had passed the place where he was killed many times before. I hope that his family has had a good life and I will always remember them kindly. Ed McKay On christmas day(2007) Lloyd Elliot Verrett,Jr. died in Oklahoma while driving of a heart attack. He leaves to mourn, my sister,Ara W. Verrett and daughter,Courtney Ciante Verrett.
