We ask Thy blessings and eternal rest to all our brothers and sisters
Who have sacrificed their very lives in the performance of
their duties. Give their loved ones the peace and
Strength to bear the anguish of their loss. Remove all
resentment from their hearts, knowing that eternal
peace and rest will abide their departed loved ones
forever. This we beg, Thy name forever and ever,
Amen.

Ofc. Stransky,

The more I look at your picture, the more I can see how much your daughter looks like you. She is a wonderful woman who I have gotten to know the past several years through the company she works for.

However, I never would have imagined that she and I would share the loss of a loved one killed in the line of duty. I have been told by your daughter that you and my husband Duke are at rest in the same cemetery and although I have never personally stood at your grave, I am familiar as to your whereabouts and as I drive past that location, I look below the light that shines from the building on the opposite side of the fence and I think of you and your wife. God bless the both of you and please keep watch from above over your daughter and the rest of your family.
