Mazie,

Without your love and support, I don't think Denise, Carmen and I could have gotten through the emotional week in D.C. God Bless you for being the wonderful person you are throughout our tragic loss from the very beginning.

The smiling faces of the survivors of the Triangle as we walked up the Capitol lawn when the Zimmerman family was called is etched in my mind forever.

Love,
Vicki & Carmen

Mrs. Staas,

I had the privilege of meeting you this past weekend in Washington D.C. during National Police Week. My husband Gary served as escort officer to Denise Zimmerman. I just wanted to tell you that it was a true honor to meet and be in the presence of you and the other survivors and honor your husbands and loved ones. I wish you continued peace and strength.

Dear John:

It's been many years since your untimely death. Clearly, you lived by the credo of "Honor, Duty and Fidelity."

No New Jersey State Trooper rests with a "blank" reflection page. Trooper Staas, rest in peace...your job is done.
