Inspector Roberts, today marks the 80th anniversary of your murder. It seems the role of the Border Patrol has changed a little over the years but the overall goal is the same, to protect our nation right at the border and to prevent any thing or any ONE harmful from getting in. As is clear from the day to day news reports and the evidence we in law enforcement see on a regular basis, your job is not an easy one and your efforts at times seem fruitless. It’s almost like trying to stop a dam burst with a roll of masking tape. But the men and women of the United States Border Patrol still go out and do that much-needed job every day, and as is proof by your page here, still make the ultimate sacrifice.

Your efforts, your life, have not been forgotten. Thank you, hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
