Your heroism and service is honored today, the 39th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I hope to meet your family at a NorCAL Cops meeting.

Officer Radetich was a very loving brother. He loved having a little sister, and brought me along to many activites with him. Our lives were shattered forever when he killed. My life would be different in ways too numerous to mention if he were still with me. Rest in peace, my beloved brother. Thank-you all who have added to this guestbook. Thank-you for not forgetting Richard after all of these years, I truly apprecite that you have not forgotten him.

My dad, Joe Brodnik, was killed 5/1/69. I was in the Navy and after Richard was killed Nancy would come to visit my mother. I met her once while home on leave. Nancy and my mother shared many hours together. I would love to visit with you. Your family as well as the "others" are always in my heart and prayers.

I was a teenager interested in Law Enforcement and officer
Radetich was one of the instructors in SFPDs PAL Law Enforcement program. High School Students interested in a
career in law enforcement. Rich was a mentor assigned to a
bunch of us. He volunteered his time and was a great guy
So the morning he was murdered it hurt all of us to lose
a great friend.

Officer Radetich you were killed on the same day and year as my father. He was a Chicago Police Officer. This is just proof that we are all part of the big brotherhood. In this brotherhood we dont back down because we are doing Gods work. If he calls us home sooner then we would like it is for a reason. I'LL pray for you daughter and wife. You are a true hero.
