Thanks, because my FTO told me most people won't challenge a trooper because the ones before us had already earned the respect.

Hello, I am the Troop Commander now for the area that Trooper Pavatt was killed. I have recently came into possession of the "slapper" that Trooper Pavatt was carrying when he was shot and killed just north of Summitt Arkansas. I would like to see this returned to the family and would like to get some contact information so we can exchange this item..

Algin Pavatt II is my father and it saddens me that I never had the opportunity to meet a hero so dear to my dad.
