Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

How different life may have been if you had not been taken from us. Mom never stopped loving you. She tried to be a mother & father to the kids. You would be so proud! You may be gone, but you will never be fogotten. Heroes never die.

Trooper Noechel, you have not been forgotten and you never will. You served the State of WV and Mineral County well. You gave the ultimate sacrifice and there for shall always be remembered as a hero. It was men like you that have given this Department the reputation that we have. We will work hard to never tarnish that and to keep it alive. It has been 40 years since your death and I still hear stories about you. It is because of this that I am proud to call you a brother and to wear the forest green. God bless you and rest in peace knowing that as long as this Department is around, you will live through us. Thank you, sir.

This is sad. Those children grew up
without their Dad. Thank you for your
sacrifice, even though the price seems too dear.
