Policeman Nadeau, today marks the 50th anniversary of your tragic death. It’s sad to read that no charges were ever filed against the person responsible for your crash but I like to believe that he/she faced true justice, if not in this world, then in the next.
Your Police Department is now a part of history. You contributed to the protection of a vital part of world commerce and though the canal is now no longer a U.S. possession, all who pass through it can know that it was men like yourself who kept it safe for many years. You truly are a hero.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
