Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your sacrifice was made so many years ago. Evil was, is, and will be a part of life just as goodness such as yours will also be present.

Rest In Peace

Officer Murray, today marks the 85th anniversary of your murder. Your efforts on behalf of the citizens of Council Bluffs and the C & NW Railroad have not been forgotten. The rails are part of what made this the greatest country on Earth and men such as you have always been there to keep them safe. Thank you. I am sure that your murder faced the ultimate justice in the afterlife.

God Bless you and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
