To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84ht anniversary of your death. I am privileged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

The Lincoln Park District Police Department was made part of the Chicago Police Department in about 1960. Prior to that there was a separate department that patrolled the parks and boulevards of Chicago.

On this the 81st anniversary of your sacrifice the members of CPD recall youir service.

No officer who has laid down their life to protect others should be without a reflection. You are indeed a hero. Rest in peace and thank you for your service.
