I typed the wrong date in my previous reflection. Today is the eighty-first anniversary of your line of duty death and I am sure each year you have been missed by your family.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you and your son Jack especially is in thoughts and prayers.

I just recently discovered this page...I want to thank both of the men who expressed remarks for my father. I was 15 months old when he was killed and had only relatives comments of his life. I am now 82 years old but still seek any information for my father. Several years ago I donated his badge to a museum in Ardmore, Okla. A few years ago, I discovered it was not being displayed and attempted to retreive it and give it to the Oklahoma Peace Officers Assoc. in Okla. City but the museum would not return it. I still wish it would be displayed at perhaps a more proper facility. Thank you...Jack Moorhead
