Officer Mickey, today marks the 83rd anniversary of your murder at the hands of a young kid. It’s especially sad since you had two young children at home. They had lost you physically, but I truly believe you never really left them.
You gave your life while protecting one of the most important resources that made America great, it’s railroads and it was the effort you put out that makes you a hero.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
