My reflections would mirror Tom Dawson's. Frank was my great grandfather as well, and his passing was multiple decades before my birth. I am definitely proud of his service and sacrifice, and equally proud of my great grandmother and grandmother for their perseverance in his absence.

Frank was my great grandfather and was dead long before I was born. He left a widow and two young children, one of which would become my grandmother. What I know about Frank is that he immigrated from Ireland and made his way to Kansas City. His children were proud of his service to the police force. His living family now are also proud of his service.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 110th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
