Reflections for Policeman Aeneas McDonald

Officer McDonald,
On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Geneva.

Your sacrifice for your townspeople is still respected by your family in your home country Ireland. So sad for the loss of that lovely retirement time you would have had with your family in Geneva but so very proud to be associated with you and your heroic actions. By all accounts you were a lovely gentleman and well loved officer. Rest in peace Great Uncle Aeneas.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.
