Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers. Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Mom of fallen California Officer Larry Lasater, Pittsburg PD, eow 4/24/05

Special Agent McCamant, on this 85th anniversary of your murder. No doubt the scum who took your life had no intention of killing you, but that didn’t make a difference. Their actions took the life of a Railroad Police Officer and all for a lousy ride.

You and the men and women of this nation’s Railroad Police have a tough job in protecting one of our most vital resources and for that you deserve our thanks. Thank you.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
