Bob was a wonderful man and officer. I was one of the last to see him alive. I have never forgotten the sadness of that day. RIP

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 31rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

I worked at the Conway Police Dept with Officer Martin during the 1970s. He was a very dear friend and a good officer who cared about people. I still think of him often.

It's hard to believe that Off. Martin has been gone for 22 yrs. I attended his funeral as did hundreds of police officers across Arkansas. You are not forgotten and your dedication and service to law enforcement will always be remembered.

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer. Tonight, March 24, 2003 we dedicated the shift to the memory of Patrolman Robert Martin who died on this date 22 years ago.

When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.

Patrolman Martin's sacrifice will never be forgotten.
