Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Bee Martin

You died before I was born, but my dad (your nephew, Ted Gearhart, Sr) never forgot you. He spoke of you often and I believe he mourned you until his death at age 70. You were very important to him. That was the reason I was determined to get your name on that wall. The documentation took about two years, but it will now last forever. RIP

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
