Reflections for Officer Jack E. Marks

88 years ago today you gave your life for all of us that followed you wearing the Blue & Gold and riding motors. The honor on being the best is evident as you gave all and left us all with you in our hearts. You missed so much and I know your family to this day misses you yet still honors you with their love. God Bless you and your family. I’ll remember you forever. Sorry it took me so long to write my prayers for your dedication and service.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the seventy sixth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Only what my mother has told me she was 8yrs old. He was a great father and well loved and it's sad that I never got to meet him. I have his service revolver which he had on when he went down and an old CHP patch. I also have his badge when he was a M/O with San Bernardino County #5.
