Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Thomas Manderich
Your memory is honored and revered, this 96th anniversary of your death. I thank you for your service. My
cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
This was a horrific incident; five officers killed and an entire agency decimated. I can only imagine the turmoil and grief this caused their families and communities.
Rest In Peace

It is still hard to believe how one man could be so cold and ruthless - five law enforcement officers killed.
May You All Rest - In Peace.

Deputy Manderich has not been forgotten by his department and community. He is being remember at the Utah Peace Officer Memorial each year, on the Utah Peace Officer Memorial Website and at least twice a year his name is read to the public and place on a flag in honor of him.
We do remember you, Deputy Manderich
