Your heroism and service is honored today, the 52nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

my grandpa luke had passed before i came along. i only wish i knew him. i will someday meet him in heaven. but for know i want to learn as much as possible. for those who knew him please share your stories. and those of you who don't , well your reading about a great man. we thank you, grandpa for making us part of your legacy! i love you. and i will salute you soon.

Rest in peace Trooper...... your sacrifice for the citizens of this State will never be forgotten. May God bless your remaining family and loved ones always. The rest of us brown shirts will keep watch in the meantime.
